The benefits of raising free range poultry are many. Our grass-fed poultry has intense flavor, due to the slow-growth of the breeds we have chosen.
They are not bred to travel the “fast track” to be ready in 28 days as most of the commercially produced poultry are. They actually take almost twice as long as the famous Kentucky chickens.
In addition to rich taste, our slower-growing breeds have balanced growth of their organs, muscle, and bones. They’re hardy and can live outdoors, and because they come from a diverse genetic stock, their immunity is stronger. They live on our farm the way poultry has been cared for and raised for centuries.
They are particularly active in the fresh morning air, because as we all know…”the early bird gets…breakfast!”
