What Makes Pasture Prime Unique?

100% Grass Fed • Wagyu Genetics • Family Farming • Humane Treatment • 100% Traceable

100% Grass Fed

Our herd has access to high quality grasses, both annual and perennial, year-round. These grasses deliver all the health benefits associated with grass fed beef.

Wagyu Genetics

The majority of our herd is purebred Wagyu. This ensures that our beef will have a consistent expression of the Wagyu characteristics that has made the breed famous. Most Wagyu meat that is on the market today is just 50% Wagyu (considered F1 cows).

A True Sustainable Family Farm

Our family has over thirty years of agriculture experience on the family homestead. We currently have three generations that work on the farm, with hopes that someday there will be a fourth.

Humane Treatment

Our Wagyu are treated with the utmost care and concern. They are raised in a low stress environment without the use of hormones or antibiotics. The Wagyu's noted docile temperament makes working with them a genuine pleasure.

100% Traceable

With the exception of our foundation and breeding stock, all our animals have been born and raised on our farm under our care.

Mangalitsa Pigs

We are pleased to announce that we have added Mangalitsa pigs to our operation.  We recieved another group of 50 in mid May which should give us a steady supply through the remainder of the year.  These pigs are featured in some of the most highly respected restaurants in our country.

Pasture raised poultry and heritage turkeys

We will be raising pasture raised poultry this spring in our newly fabricated "Chick-Inn" and wil have a limited amount of pasture raised heritage turkeys for Thanksgiving.
